Medical Support Program

The Health MSP program is funded through the Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG). The objective of the Health program is to provide assistance to low-income families in obtaining the health and medical supplies needed to improve their quality of life.

The Health Program achieves this goal by providing assistance to low-income households by helping to obtain the prescription and medical supplies needed to maintain independent living situations and household stability by decreasing the likelihood of wage loss due to illness related work loss.

Health services are provided as a stand-alone service or through Case Management programs. All medications must be prescribed by a licensed physician. MCCAA will not pay for pain medications or controlled substances.

Participating clients must meet CSBG income eligibility guidelines.

For more information on the Health program, please contact your local CSBG office.
