Shelby just wanted a way to help her children have a good Christmas. As a separated, stay-at-home mom to a five year old and nine month old twins, she found daily life very demanding and desperately needed help. She and her mom had received assistance with electric bills through MCCAA’s LIHEAP Program in the past, and her mom informed her that MCCAA was partnering with The Salvation Army this year to host the Angel Tree Project. This was her answer to providing a good Christmas for her children.

“This project is amazing!” responded Shelby. “They are good people who bless you with all kinds of gifts. My kids would not have had a big Christmas without them.”
